COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
All CFDCs, including LAMBAC, create and implement strategic plans that guide local economic development. A broad cross section of community stakeholders — normally including the private sector, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, education, labour and First Nations — cooperate to build a vision for their community.
LAMBAC's strategic plans run in five-year terms. The 2010-2015 is now being completed, including a review of the implementation of the 2005 - 2010 plan. This review concluded that this implementation was largely successful and continues to have a positive impact on the regional economy.
Here you will find downloadable pdf's of our recent Strategic Plan documents, the core values of the Strategic Plan Vision Group, an outline of the strategic planning process, and a list of the priority projects contained in the current strategic plan.
